2025 Academic Annual Report

2025 was a story of momentum — for working adults, for career-relevant learning and for the future of higher education.

Since 1976, ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ has focused on expanding access to higher education for adults balancing work, family and life responsibilities.ÌýThat mission is accomplished todayÌýthrough flexible online learning, career-relevant education and student support designed for real life.

The 2025 Academic Annual Report powerfully demonstrates how the University continues to evolve with the needs of working adult learners and the workforce. Throughout the year,Ìýthe University celebrated alumni, advanced career-focused research, applied skills-based learning and authentic assessments, promoted responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) and emphasized the value of college and workforce experience with transfer credit and credit for prior learning. These efforts reflect a simple but pivotal idea: Higher education should help students build confidence, recognize the value ofÌýwhat they already know and develop skills they can use as the workforceÌýcontinues to evolve.

This report also highlights how ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ continues to connect academic quality with practical relevance across our seven colleges — from program innovation and faculty scholarship to research on AI in academic and workplace settings.
